Easy Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings

 

Hi, All!

The baby’s down for the night so I’ve finally got some time to post my easy recipe for Crock-Pot or slow cooker chicken and dumplings. I hadn’t made it in a while so I wasn’t sure if it would turn out well but Scott LOVED it! I hope you enjoy it as well.

What You Need:

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 celery ribs
  • 1/4 of an onion
  • 2 cans 10.5 oz cream of chicken
  • 1 16 oz can of biscuit dough
  • 32 oz of chicken broth

Instructions:

  • thinly chop the celery stalks and carrots
  • season the chicken breasts to your liking & cut each piece in half
  • add chicken, veggies, cream of chicken & chicken broth to the slow cooker
  • set on high for 6 hours
  • two or three hours in, cut the biscuit dough into quarters and add the pieces to the cooker
